As they become compassionate global citizens, students develop a sense of social consciousness and empathy early on and want to make a difference in their community and the world. They initiate various charitable activities such as clothing and costume drives, fundraisers for charitable causes, and volunteering their time and the School encourages and supports these efforts. Community service continues into Middle School and Upper School in a more formal manner as part of the IB curriculum. Below are some examples of our students’ philanthropy projects. This list is always changing as our students follow their passion for social justice and find new ways to give back to the world.
