Our community’s combined gifts have a profound impact in shaping the Alcuin experience for every student. Whether you are passionate about sustaining daily operations, contributing to enriching educational experiences that foster wonder and a love of learning, or creating transformative changes by enhancing opportunities for student success, our Giving Circles can help you decide the level of impact that reflects your family’s giving priorities.   

Donors who give at levels within the Founder’s Circle and above will be invited to a reception in the Spring of 2026. Additionally, those who support at Leadership Circle levels will be invited to an intimate recognition dinner.

  • Giving Options

    All gifts to the Alcuin Fund are tax deductible and can be paid by cash, check, or credit card (MC, VISA, AMEX, or Discover) online using the Give Now  button. Gifts from Donor Advised Funds are also appreciated. 

    Pledges can be paid at any time during the school’s current fiscal year (prior to June 30th).  

    If you prefer to gift shares of stock, please contact Lochwood Larson in our Business Office at lochwood.larson@alcuinschool.org. 

  • Increase the Impact of Your Gift

    As a 501(c)3, Alcuin School is eligible to receive corporate matching gifts. Check with your employer’s Human Resources Department to find out if your company will match your charitable gift to the Alcuin Fund and potentially double the impact of your investment.

  • What is the Alcuin Fund?

    The Alcuin Fund is a vital source of revenue and a critical aspect of the school’s operating budget. Every investment in our annual giving campaign directly benefits all our students from Toddler through Upper School and ensures the highest quality experience, in both academic and co-curricular programs. 

  • Why does Alcuin School need the Alcuin Fund when parents already pay tuition?

    Tuition revenue alone is not enough to sustain the quality of an Alcuin education. In fact, 73% of tuition revenue goes directly toward faculty and staff salaries and benefits—leaving only 27% to cover everything else, including technology, facilities, classroom resources, and administrative expenses. 

    To continue providing excellence in our programs, the school relies on generous support for the Alcuin Fund from the Alcuin community – our Board of Trustees, parents, grandparents, and alumni and their families. 

    These tax-deductible gifts help bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual cost of delivering Alcuin’s well-rounded, high-quality education. Unlike tuition, your contribution to the Alcuin Fund is fully tax-deductible and directly enhances the student experience. 

  • What other benefits can Alcuin School realize from community participation?

    When schools approach foundations and charitable trusts, a significant criterion for awarding these grants is the level of support shown by the school’s community. Alcuin School has submitted a number of proposals and is honored to have been awarded nearly $1MM. 

  • How much should we give?

    The right amount is what feels meaningful for your family. Some families contribute $25, others $25,000—all gifts are valued because they come from a desire to support our students.

  • Is our gift tax-deductible?

    Alcuin School is a registered 501(c)3, as such, gifts to the Alcuin Fund are fully tax-deductible according to IRS regulations and may be paid through cash, check, credit card, or securities.
