The initial phase of the Shine On campaign will raise $4 million to refresh and renovate six classrooms in the South Wing and eight in the North Wing. Building on the design master plan and honoring the beautiful architecture already in place, these improvements will elevate these spaces to align with newer buildings throughout the campus.
The renovation plan focuses on three areas: increasing energy efficiency/cost savings, enhancing educational programs, and increasing classroom safety for our youngest learners:

Final Phases of the Shine On Capital Campaign
The final phase of the Shine On capital campaign will concentrate on completing the West Campus project which will include a state-of-the-art makerspace, finishing out the Upper School classrooms, the addition of administrative offices and meeting space, and the development of a campus commons area. Continuing the connection to the outdoors, these spaces will be accessed through a series of walkways, balconies, and a large commons area that connect to a flex-space performance hall serving the entire student body. The venue is designed with retractable seating to allow it to quickly change from theater performance to robotics competition, gallery exhibition and more. The West Campus project will also reorient the entrance to campus so that families will be greeted in a spectacular new building that embodies Alcuin’s purpose -- to educate in student-centered spaces that provide endless opportunities for exploration, growth, and joyful learning.
