Beginning in 7th grade, students join the globally recognized International Baccalaureate program.
Students in grades 7-10 participate in the Middle Years Program (MYP), a challenging framework that encourages students to draw important connections between schoolwork and the real world. The curriculum features eight subject groups that include language acquisition, language and literature, individuals and societies, science, math, art, physical education, and design. MYP students also complete a personal project of their own choosing, which allows them to deepen their personal understanding, sense of self, and impact on community.
In grades 11 and 12, students take part in the Capstone portion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, (DP), a future-ready curriculum where students come to understand their unique and powerful selves, the value of cross-cultural understanding, and the importance of becoming a lifelong learner. The culmination of this extraordinary college-ready program is the Extended Essay, a 4,000-word project that synthesizes all they’ve learned on their academic journey and display their individual mastery in a topic of their choosing.
