Tyler Johnson has been the Database and Website Manager at Alcuin since 2009. He gravitated towards database and website development after taking a few courses in high school and college, which led him to get a degree in Educational Technology Management from Texas A&M University. After college, he earned his CCNA certification to enter the computer networking world but found the opportunity of a lifetime when offered a job at Alcuin.
Outside of work, Johnson’s two main passions are music and Tesla. While music heals the soul, his true passion, and some might say an obsession, is keeping track of the renewable energy (EV/ solar/ wind/ battery storage) transition daily. Whether it is reading books, articles, research papers, or watching lectures/interviews, this topic is on his mind 24/7 as it affects his daughter's future and humanity in general.
