Alcuin Gym

Home to Hawk Athletics, there is no louder place on campus.

The Gym is the hub of Alcuin school spirit, where athletic events, school-wide pep rallies, student concerts, summer camps, and community events bring out parents, students, grandparents, faculty, and staff to cheer for the blue and white.

The facility was built below ground, amplifying the already high energy level during home games. It features a recently upgraded court and a mezzanine that is home to the Hawk Shop–a must stop to “gear up” for the game. With fully equipped boys and girls locker rooms, the gym is ADA accessible and doubles as a storm shelter in the event of weather emergencies.

The pitch is where Hawk soccer teams blend skill, sportsmanship, and an unbridled passion for the game. It’s also where elves and reindeer dash through an obstacle course during the Jingle Bell Run; where more than 50 countries are represented during International Festival; and where families gather for everything from flag football games to the school’s annual Field Day celebration.

Bassichis Family Fitness Center

Alcuin is raising the bar, one student-athlete at a time.

The Bassichis Family Fitness Center is elevating Hawk training to a whole new level. Under the guidance of a strength and conditioning coach, Middle and Upper School student-athletes utilize all the center has to offer, including eight multi-use power racks, medicine balls, and free weights.

While the primary goal is increasing the athletic performance of student-athletes, the fitness center is also available for faculty/staff use and maintains dedicated “open lift” hours for students who want to improve their overall health and wellness.
