Shannon Latimer
Latimer is a mom to three adult children, a dog and a cat.
Shannon Latimer is a Guide in the All Day Montessori Toddler Community. During her 16 years at Alcuin School she has also led a half-day toddler community, taught the Adult-Infant class, served as a member of the school’s Montessori Advisory Council and provided professional development training outside of campus.
Latimer earned her Assistants to Infancy Diploma in 2006 from the Montessori Institute of North Texas. Prior to her Montessori work, Latimer served parents and children as a La Leche League Leader, distributor of baby slings, child care provider, and as a parent educator with Parents as Teachers. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Southern Methodist University. Latimer is a mom to three adult children, a dog and a cat.
