Patrick D'Hoostelaere
D’Hoostelaere is a life long Montessorian; his family opened their own Montessori school.
Patrick D’Hoostelaere has been teaching elementary at Alcuin School since the fall of 2017 and was initially an Upper Elementary Academic Coach before taking on the role of Lower Elementary Guide.
Patrick is a life long Montessorian. He attended Montessori schools from primary through third grade before attending public school. Even then, his family opened their own Montessori school in the same year, so Montessori has always been part of his life.
Before graduating college, D’Hoostelaere began working interim positions at his family’s school. In 2015, he attended AMI elementary training at the Montessori Institute of San Diego, and received his master’s degree in education in 2016. He’s been working with elementary children ever since.
