Pamela Villanueva

Villanueva is an East Dallas enthusiast and resident who loves walking at White Rock Lake.
Pamela Villanueva has served Alcuin in the role of Instructional Technology Specialist since 2015. She supports and interacts with students and staff throughout the campus, and she enjoys the variety of activities that each day brings. One of her favorite duties is welcoming new staff and getting to know them during their tech orientation.

Before coming to Alcuin, Villanueva had a long teaching career in Richardson ISD and Highland Park ISD. She has classroom experience with ages 3 to 12, mostly as a gifted education specialist. Her technology rich professional development in HPISD and her enthusiasm for learning new skills prepared her for her current position. Her long history with culturally diverse schools in RISD fostered her passion for and commitment to the Alcuin Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Villanueva is an East Dallas enthusiast and resident who loves walking at White Rock Lake, visiting the Arboretum, coffee at Cultivar and Mexican food at El Vecino. She shares her 1937 bungalow with her daughter and their three dogs. Her older daughter and grandson live in Manhattan, so she is a frequent visitor to New York City, where she feasts on the arts and fine cuisine. Her quiet moments are spent gardening, reading, and creating mixed media art.

Villanueva’s home base is the tech office, but you might find her anywhere on campus. She knows that any day is improved with a walk through our beautiful outdoor environment and a conversation with a young child.
