Jeanne Baker

In her free time, Baker enjoys cooking, swimming, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her husband and two children. 
Jeanne Baker joined the Alcuin community in 2012 and serves as a Primary Guide. 

Baker has worked in Montessori programs since 1999, when she accepted a position as a classroom assistant right out of high school. She holds two Primary Montessori training teaching certificates, one from the American Montessori Society and another from Association Montessori Internationale. 

She completed her AMI Primary training with Montessori Institute of North Texas and has worked as a classroom guide and AMI Montessori training course assistant for programs in both Dallas and St. Paul, Minnesota. She holds a master’s degree in literature from the University of Texas at Dallas and is pursuing a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Texas.
