Charlotte Gruber

One hobby that often surprises others is her enthusiasm for backyard chickens. They have such fun little personalities, and she enjoys sharing fresh eggs with her neighbors.
Charlotte Gruber is the Assistant to the Head of School. She is a lifelong learner and explorer with a passion for the unexpected.

If given the chance (and it was safe), Gruber would love to take students on a field trip back in time to the ancient city of Alexandria and visit the library. The opportunity to witness this intellectual, cultural, and commercial hub grow into one of the greatest cities of its time would be fascinating. Among historical figures, she would certainly enroll in a class taught by Dante. His multidisciplinary genius, spanning art, science, and engineering, embodies the essence of curiosity and creativity.

The furthest Gruber has ever travelled from home was to Jerusalem, a journey that expanded her horizons both geographically and culturally.

The advice she would give to her younger self is to embrace every learning opportunity, no matter how challenging or daunting it may seem. Education is not just about acquiring knowledge but about building resilience, empathy, and understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
