The Alcuin Edge Internship Program exposes students to real-world work environments to enable them to make educated decisions about their career goals, provide them with opportunities for personal development, and receive mentoring from industry professionals.
The mentors the students connect with through the program will help guide the student as they go into their senior year and make decisions about university and which direction they want to take their education.
The Edge Program is coordinated through Alcuin’s Office of Philanthropy and College Placement Department. All rising seniors are eligible for the program, but must complete an application and the interview process to help determine their qualifications and interests for placement.
Each participant will receive an evaluation at the end of their internship. They must also complete a reflection on their experience and share what they learned with their peers. We also ask that our business partners/mentors complete a review and reflection to help the intern learn from the experience.
